What you'll do

As an Optometrist at Maltavista, you’ll deliver high-quality care by utilizing advanced diagnostic tools such as OCT, visual field testing, external and fundus photography, and topography, while effectively managing electronic health records in strict adherence to New York State guidelines. Meticulous and accurate documentation of exams is essential, and there is a strong emphasis on consistently demonstrating kindness and courtesy toward both patients and staff to foster a respectful, compassionate environment. Flexible scheduling accommodates a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for full-time engagement, and you’ll typically see between 15 and 22 patients daily, addressing a broad spectrum of visual needs and contributing significantly to Maltavista’s commitment to outstanding patient care.
