Position Summary

Provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for infants and adults. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Possesses critical thinking skills as demonstrated by ability to prioritize, problem solve, and communicate through chain of command. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred. BSN preferred. Minimum of one year nursing experience in Maternal Child Services preferred.

Certificates, licenses, registrations

Must possess a current California RN license and BLS certification. ACLS required within 90 days of hire or status change. NRP due within 60 days or hire or status change.

Requirements

Candidates should preferably be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing with a preferred BSN and at least one year of nursing experience in Maternal Child Services. A current California RN license and BLS certification are mandatory, with ACLS and NRP certifications required shortly after hire.
