The PET Technologist performs diagnostic PET imaging procedures, including radio-pharmaceutical injection, contrast administration, protocol setup, and image processing. Responsibilities also involve collaborating on technical issues, conducting daily quality control, and assisting with scheduling and front office functions.
Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria that vary based on the level (1, 2, or Sr), generally requiring an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology with relevant PET-CT certification. Minimum experience ranges from three to five years, with higher levels requiring more specialized PET experience and potentially a Bachelor's degree.
