The Admissions RN is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a patient’s admission, ensuring a smooth process from intake to program entry, and educating families about hospice services. This role involves gathering intake information, coordinating with referral sources, conducting clinical evaluations, and completing necessary admissions paperwork in a timely manner.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation and knowledgeable about high-quality hospice care, capable of providing direct patient care when necessary. Essential qualifications include strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under stress, and proficiency in completing regulatory paperwork.

Our Admissions RN coordinates all aspects of a patient’s admission, and ensures a smooth and timely process from the initial intake to program admission. The Admissions RN assists in educating the family regarding hospice services and ensures the patient is comfortable throughout the admission. Works in a collaborative and persuasive manner with the hospital, nursing home, or other admissions staff, to help ensure they have a positive experience.
