The General Dentist will provide comprehensive primary care services at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Sioux City, IA, operating within an integrated care model alongside medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. The role involves seeing an average of 18 patients per day, working a 4-day week with one evening shift, and collaborating with hygienists and dental assistants.
Candidates must possess a DDS or DMD degree from an approved dental school to qualify for this full-time position. Experience level is suggested to be entry to mid-level, with salary dependent upon experience.
Description The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time General Dentist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Sioux City, IA!
What is a community health center (FQHC)? The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations. With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof. Role Details: Hours: 4-day work week with 1 evening per week (until 7:30 p.m.); no weekends, no call Sees on average 18 patients per day Provider team includes: 1 dentist, 4 hygienists in rotation, & 2 dental assistants Operatories: 12 EHR: Epic Wisdom
