The Obstetrics Coordinator will manage patient flow by meeting with every new obstetrics patient to complete medical history intake and open the OB flow sheet, ensuring all necessary prenatal paperwork is finalized. This role also involves providing maternity education, monitoring blood work, handling referrals to specialists like MFM, and conducting post-partum follow-up calls.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant healthcare experience within an OBGYN or OB setting, demonstrating knowledge of OB practices and guidelines. Essential qualifications include excellent customer service, clear communication of medical information, meticulous documentation, and proficiency with EMR systems, preferably eClinical Works.
