Perform routine radiographic procedures across the main department and satellite locations while ensuring high-quality imaging Assist with fluoroscopic procedures and maintain clean, adequately stocked fluoroscopic and radiographic rooms Assess patient condition and comprehension, ensuring proper positioning, immobilization, and safe transfer techniques Adhere to ALARA principles and all hospital, departmental, and infection control policies to minimize radiation exposure and promote patient safety Accurately complete requisitions, verify patient identity using two identifiers, and confirm correct exam site and body part Maintain thorough and accurate records and complete assigned quality assurance tasks efficiently Operate all diagnostic radiographic equipment appropriately and report equipment malfunctions promptly Supervise and support the clinical instruction of student radiographers Maintain professional competency through continuing education and compliance with licensure and certification requirements Open Shifts Available:

You Have: Graduation from an American Medical Association–approved two (2) year Radiologic Technology program A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Staff Radiologic Technologist in a comparable hospital setting (preferred) Current New York State licensure in Radiologic Technology Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (preferred) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Strong communication, time management, customer service, and basic computer/data entry skills
