The role involves evaluating and treating patients using appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques within both outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology settings. Responsibilities also include participating in consultations, collaborating with referring physicians, and sharing specialty call duties.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and possess a medical license or eligibility for licensure in the state. Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship training in Gastroenterology is required.
A well-established gastroenterology practice is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join a busy and growing team. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced physicians and new fellowship graduates who are board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology. The position offers a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient care with strong referral volume and established patient demand. Position Highlights General / traditional outpatient and inpatient GI practice Full-spectrum adult gastroenterology (ages 18 and older) Established patient volume with opportunity to be busy immediately Strong primary care referral base Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) capability available ERCP training preferred but not required Office located in close proximity to the hospital Ambulatory outpatient center available for procedures during the week Hospital-based outpatient procedures available weekly
