The Primary Care Physician will provide comprehensive outpatient medical care to adult and/or pediatric patients, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Key duties include performing preventive care, developing individualized treatment plans, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with specialists.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree and have completed an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Applicants must possess or be eligible for board certification and hold an active, unrestricted medical license and DEA registration.

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care, wellness visits, and routine physical examinations Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with clinical guidelines Provide patient education on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in the electronic health record Participate in quality improvement initiatives and population health efforts Adhere to all clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active, unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain licensure) DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain) Skills and Attributes Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Proficiency with electronic health record systems Must maintain state certification and/or licensure
