The Occupational Therapist will perform thorough resident evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver expert therapy to enhance independence in daily activities and movement for residents with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute needs. Responsibilities also include instructing residents on adaptive techniques, partnering with staff for cohesive care, and accurately documenting assessments and progress.
Candidates must possess an active Occupational Therapist license in California and hold a Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Essential skills include knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, strong communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and proficient documentation and time management.

Up to $2,196 weekly Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm Schedule Options: Sun-Thurs or Tues-Sat Clinical Duties: Perform thorough resident evaluations and develop individualized OT treatment plans. Deliver expert therapy to enhance independence in daily activities and movement. Manage care for residents with orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute needs. Instruct residents in adaptive techniques and proper use of assistive devices. Partner with nursing and rehab staff to ensure cohesive care delivery. Share treatment objectives and discharge planning with residents and families. Document assessments, daily progress, and therapy notes accurately. Track resident outcomes and refine interventions for maximum effectiveness. Comply with facility standards and all applicable state regulations.
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
