Essential functions include evaluating patients' physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting, developing individualized treatment plans to restore function, and providing therapeutic interventions like exercise and manual therapy. Therapists must also educate patients and caregivers, monitor progress, and accurately document sessions using digital platforms.
Candidates must possess an active Physical Therapist license in Texas and professional liability insurance specific to that license, along with a graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred, alongside strong adaptability and excellent communication skills.
