The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist develops and implements anesthesia care plans, administering various types of anesthesia for diverse procedures while continuously monitoring patients. Key duties include performing pre-anesthetic evaluations, managing anesthesia during all phases of procedures, and providing necessary post-anesthesia care.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia, hold active CRNA, RN licenses, and National Board Certification, along with BLS and ACLS certifications. Required competencies include advanced anesthesia techniques, strong communication skills, and the ability to function effectively in high-stress clinical environments.
