The physician will provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages, managing acute and chronic conditions, performing routine exams, and developing individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities also include educating patients, coordinating care with specialists, and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency. Board eligibility or certification in Family Medicine, an active state medical license, and current BLS/ACLS certification are required.
Family Medicine PhysicianPosition Summary A healthcare organization is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient or mixed clinical setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and coordinating services to support the health of individuals and families across the lifespan.
Provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform routine physical examinations, health screenings, and preventive care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives Practice Environment Outpatient primary care setting (may include inpatient, call, or specialty services depending on organization) Collaborative, team-based care model with clinical and administrative support Opportunity for professional growth, leadership, and participation in quality initiatives
