The physician will provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages, managing both acute and chronic medical conditions through diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication prescription. Responsibilities also include performing routine physicals, educating patients on wellness, and coordinating care with specialists.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school and have completed an accredited Family Medicine residency. Applicants must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine and hold an active or eligible state medical license, along with current BLS/ACLS certification.
Family Medicine PhysicianPosition Summary A healthcare organization is seeking a Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient or mixed clinical setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and coordinating services to support the health of individuals and families across the lifespan.
Provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Perform routine physical examinations, health screenings, and preventive care Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives Practice Environment Outpatient primary care setting (may include inpatient, call, or specialty services depending on organization) Collaborative, team-based care model with clinical and administrative support Opportunity for professional growth, leadership, and participation in quality initiatives
