The Orthopedic Surgeon will join an established, growing, community-based practice, providing surgical services within a physician-led healthcare organization and maintaining hospital privileges at a community hospital. Responsibilities include utilizing a built-in referral network and sharing call coverage while collaborating with a regional orthopedic service line and trauma team.

Orthopedic Surgeon Tarboro, North Carolina An established orthopedic surgery practice in Tarboro, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join a growing, community-based practice. Candidates with a focus in general orthopedics and an interest in sports medicine and/or total joint surgery are encouraged to apply. Visa candidates are welcome. Opportunity Highlights include: Employment within a physician-led healthcare organization Hospital privileges at a community hospital Established practice with 3 orthopedic surgeons and 3 physician assistants Ancillary services including on-site physical therapy and radiology Built-in referral network Shared call coverage Strong support from a regional orthopedic service line and orthopedic trauma team at a nearby tertiary medical center Close proximity to Greenville, North Carolina, offering additional lifestyle options Education & Training Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency program Fellowship training in Sports Medicine and/or Total Joint Surgery preferred but not required Certification & Licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted North Carolina medical license Eligible for hospital privileges Visa candidates welcome (must meet federal and state eligibility requirements) Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits include: Annual administrative stipend Relocation assistance Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Retirement plans with employer matching (401(k)/457 options) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Additional opportunities may include state and regional loan-repayment programs, sign-on bonuses, income guarantees, and residency or fellowship commitment stipends for qualified candidates.
