About the role

The physician will provide comprehensive care for women of all ages across multiple outpatient clinics and community hospitals, combining inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities.

Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician Edenton, North Carolina An established women’s health practice in Edenton, North Carolina is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Obstetrician–Gynecologist to join a well-supported community-based practice.

Historic Edenton is a waterfront community located approximately 90 minutes from Norfolk, Virginia, 2 hours east of Raleigh, North Carolina, and 1 hour from the beaches of the Outer Banks, offering an excellent quality of life and affordable cost of living.

The broader women’s health program provides comprehensive care for women of all ages and stages across multiple outpatient clinics and community hospitals throughout eastern North Carolina.

The team includes OB/GYN generalists, subspecialists, and advanced practice providers, offering strong collaboration and system-wide support.

Opportunity Highlights include: Employment within a physician-led healthcare organization Hospital privileges at a 25-bed community hospital Opportunity to live in a beautiful waterfront community with an affordable cost of living Established practice including 1 OB/GYN and 1 Nurse Practitioner Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities Clinic schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Protected administrative time One dedicated surgery day per week Shared call with two providers Advanced practice provider support Full administrative and operational practice support Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits include: Administrative stipend Relocation assistance Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Malpractice insurance Retirement plans with employer matching (401(k)/457 options) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance Additional opportunities may include state and regional loan-repayment programs, sign-on bonuses, income guarantees, and residency or fellowship commitment stipends for qualified candidates.
