Opportunity Highlights: Employment within a physician-led hospitalist program Hospital privileges at an 81-bed community hospital Established Med-Peds hospitalist team consisting of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider Flexible nocturnist scheduling options: Three (3) 14-hour shifts per week, or Six (6) 14-hour shifts every other week , Hospitalist service manages a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support ICU responsibilities include: Ventilator management Lumbar punctures Central line placement Fully integrated electronic medical record (EMR) system Broad specialty support, including: General Surgery Cardiology Otolaryngology Orthopedic Surgery Obstetrics & Gynecology Gastroenterology Nephrology Ophthalmology Sleep Medicine Speech Therapy Physical Therapy Average nightly admission volume of approximately 6 patients Affordable cost of living Easy commute from Wilmington Close proximity to the North Carolina coast and Raleigh In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits package, qualified candidates may be eligible for loan repayment programs, sign-on bonuses, income guarantees, and residency or fellowship commitment stipends.
