Hematology Oncologist A regional cancer care program is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified, fellowship-trained Hematology Oncologist to join a growing community-based general oncology practice. This opportunity is well-suited for candidates interested in building and expanding oncology services in a regional setting. New graduates and visa candidates are welcome to apply. Highlights include: Employment within a physician-led, multi-hospital healthcare system Established practice with 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers Strong and consistent referral base Monday–Friday schedule Shared call model Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities, including: Development of treatment plans for newly diagnosed patients Chemotherapy oversight Supervision of advanced practice providers for follow-up care Participation in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings Inpatient rounding at a local hospital Cancer center features include: Infusion suite with 12 infusion spaces 10 patient exam rooms Experienced oncology nursing staff and nurse navigators On-site radiation oncology services Clinical coverage includes patients at the primary location and a nearby satellite clinic Support from a multidisciplinary cancer center team at a tertiary referral site Option to reside in a nearby metropolitan community with access to: Coastal North Carolina beaches Family-friendly amenities and regional attractions Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits include: Administrative stipend Relocation assistance Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Retirement plans with employer matching (401(k)/457 options) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Disability and life insurance
