The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a wide spectrum of neurological conditions through both inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic services. Responsibilities also include interpreting diagnostic studies like EEG and EMG/NCS, and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology, along with holding or being eligible for a license in the practicing state. Both new graduates and experienced neurologists are encouraged to apply, emphasizing strong clinical and communication abilities.
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of neurological conditions Provide inpatient neurology consultations and outpatient clinic services Interpret and utilize diagnostic studies such as EEG, EMG/NCS, and neuroimaging as applicable Collaborate with primary care providers, hospitalists, and specialty physicians Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using the electronic medical record Participate in a shared and reasonable call rotation
