The primary responsibility involves conducting one-time assessments for Veterans to assist them with their disability claim process, which includes reviewing records and completing assessments electronically. This role involves seeing a low volume of 1 to 5 Veterans per day in a low-stress setting.
The role is open to both new Nurse Practitioner graduates and experienced providers seeking a slower pace, requiring the ability to conduct assessments and complete documentation electronically. Candidates must not be expected to perform treatments, procedures, diagnosing, prescribing, billing, or disability percentage calculations.
