Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Fulton Commons Care Center – East Meadow, NY We at EMPRO Staffing are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join the team at Fulton Commons Care Center in East Meadow, NY. Available Shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Pay Rate: $42/hour Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required (please apply only if you can commit) Experience Requirement: No new graduates – prior LPN experience required If this location isn’t the right fit, we also partner with multiple nursing homes throughout Long Island, offering a variety of shifts and schedules. $42 Pay Period: Sunday to Saturday Pay Schedule: Weekly, Every Thursday via Direct Deposit Shifts: 7:00AM to 3:00PM and 3:00PM to 11:00PM
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures. Assist patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and safety. Document patient care activities and communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills. #IND8 Completed practical nursing program from an accredited institution. Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a valid state license and a degree from an accredited practical nursing program. Prior LPN experience is required, as new graduates are not accepted for this specific role.
