Provide primary and consultative medical care to adult patients Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, and infectious conditions Perform comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and ongoing patient assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment and preventive care plans Provide outpatient clinic care and/or inpatient consultation services as applicable Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services Participate in preventive care, health maintenance, and chronic disease management Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modification Ensure safe transitions of care and appropriate follow-up Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives Supervise and educate residents, medical students, or advanced practice providers as applicable Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
