Must obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure and DEA registration.
Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)Position Summary The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through evaluation, diagnosis, and medical management of heart disease using non-invasive testing modalities. Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and lipid disorders Provide outpatient cardiology clinic care and inpatient consultation services as needed Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies such as transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing (exercise and pharmacologic), ambulatory rhythm monitoring, and cardiac imaging as applicable Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Manage cardiovascular medications and monitor treatment effectiveness and safety Participate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiatives Collaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, primary care, and other specialists Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives Supervise and educate residents, fellows, or advanced practice providers as applicable Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
