The CT Technologist is responsible for operating CT equipment to generate high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort according to established protocols. This includes preparing and positioning patients, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Candidates must have 1-2 years of clinical experience from an accredited program, and preferably 2-4 years as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital. Required credentials include a state-licensed Radiologic Technologist license, CT certification (or eligibility within six months), and Basic Life Support certification within 90 days.
