The Medical Assistant functions as part of the clinical team, providing direct patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel. Key duties involve assisting with administrative, clinical, and clerical tasks such as taking patient histories, preparing rooms, collecting specimens, and managing front office support.
require a Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant and the ability to adapt to constant change in a healthcare setting, functioning both independently and collaboratively. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s Degree and various Medical Assistant certifications, along with current Basic Life Support certification.
