The Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability, following the treatment plan set by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include instructing patients in evidence-based treatment, observing, recording, and reporting patient responses to treatment, and instructing families and caregivers.
Required qualifications include current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state of practice, a current driver's license with insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle. Candidates must also be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy for the specific state of practice (AR mentioned as a state-specific requirement).
As the Occupational Therapist Assistant – Per Diem, you will be for providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
Following all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care, to follow the treatment set only as defined by the supervising OT Following the plan of care, instructs and aids patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant and according to the state laws governing occupational therapy assistants Observes, records, and reports to the nurse supervisor and the physician the patient's response to treatment and changes to the patient's condition Instructs patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the health care team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
Preferred Qualification: Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
