Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, the aide performs various resident care activities focused on the comfort and needs of the aged, including assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. Responsibilities also involve transferring residents, serving meals, and recording/reporting changes in eating habits to the supervisor.
Candidates must possess a current New York State Certified Nursing Assistant certification and a High School Diploma or GED. The role requires performing non-professional duties to ensure resident comfort while adhering to company, state, and federal regulations.
