The primary responsibility involves performing various phlebotomy procedures across all patient age groups, including specialized bedside testing like glucose and Point of Care testing in the Emergency Department. Additionally, the role supports departmental clerical functions such as patient registration and specimen processing.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed an approved phlebotomy course, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Previous laboratory experience, preferably in a hospital setting, is also required.
Previous laboratory experience (in a hospital setting preferred).
