The MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging for radiological diagnosis and operates specialized technical equipment to obtain quality images. They are responsible for patient assessment, IV contrast injections, and coordinating care plans with the healthcare team.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology school. Candidates must be ARRT certified/registered in MRI or a related imaging profession, or be a candidate for MRI advanced certification.
