The Medical Assistant performs assigned administrative and clinical duties for all patients, supporting care team goals, organizational quality, and patient-centered care while adhering to core organizational values. Essential functions include completing patient intake, preparing patients for exams, assisting providers, administering vaccines, performing screenings, drawing blood, and managing clinical room upkeep.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an accredited school with a Medical Assistant Certification, along with current BLS Certification. Required abilities include data entry into an EHR, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, basic knowledge of medical terminology, and strong communication skills.
