The Nurse Extern will provide direct patient care by assisting with data collection, executing selected therapeutic interventions, and documenting the care delivered for an assigned group of patients. This experience involves an 8-week commitment in the Operating Room unit with potential shadow opportunities in other hospital units.

Applicants must be RN students entering their final semester or year (graduating between Winter 2026 and Summer 2027) and must have successfully completed a Medical Surgical rotation prior to the externship start date of June 1, 2026.
