The Medical Records Coordinator I supports clinic medical records functions by accurately performing clerical duties such as pulling, filing, copying, and scanning records, while ensuring all requests are authorized. This role also involves facilitating necessary physician signatures and assisting with business office correspondence to ensure complete patient charts for treatment.
Candidates must demonstrate eligibility for employment in the United States and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of required clerical experience. Essential qualifications include demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English, computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases, and knowledge of medical terminology.
