The Certified Medical Assistant provides administrative and supportive services to providers, staff, and patients, which includes calling patients, conducting vitals, explaining procedures, and assisting physicians during procedures. Essential duties also involve maintaining cleanliness and stock levels in exam rooms, processing specimens, and managing instrument sterilization.
Candidates must possess a current, valid certification as a Medical Assistant or Certified Nurses Aide. The role requires basic typing skills, excellent communication, accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to work independently while adhering to all safety and procedural standards.
Adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone.
Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone.
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
