The Primary Therapist will deliver individual, group, and family therapy within a residential setting, focusing on developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans for patients with high-acuity psychiatric conditions. Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related human services field, and ideally have an active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern). A minimum of two years of experience working with high-acuity mental health populations in a mental health setting is preferred, along with proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
Description United Recovery Project Behavioral Health is seeking a master’s-level Primary Therapist to join our Mental Health Residential Treatment Program. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, clinically skilled behavioral health professional who is passionate about treating high-acuity mental health disorders, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other complex psychiatric conditions, while providing evidence-based, patient-centered care in a structured residential setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical foundation, the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, and experience working with high-acuity mental health populations. Candidates must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations.
The Primary Therapist will provide individual and group therapy, develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support patients in a structured mental health residential setting. This role focuses on treating individuals with high-acuity psychiatric conditions, ensuring continuity of care, and utilizing evidence-based interventions to promote stabilization, insight, and long-term recovery.
Pay Range $65,000 to $85,000 annually commensurate with experience.
