Position Overview

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life. You’ll work with individuals recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, complex orthopedic procedures, and other medically challenging conditions that impact daily function.

In this per diem role, you’ll assess patient needs and design personalized treatment plans that restore essential life skills—from self-care and mobility to vocational and homemaking abilities. Through compassionate care, skilled observation, and clear communication, you’ll build trust with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals.

You’ll ensure compliance with all regulatory standards while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Additionally, you’ll provide clinical supervision to therapy assistants and aides, and may serve as a mentor to students during clinical rotations.

Pay Range is $61.91 to $86.67 / hour

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
