Medical Assistants will provide essential administrative and clinical support in a fast-paced physician's practice, including recording patient histories, assisting with exams and procedures, and managing specimens for lab testing. Key duties also involve scheduling appointments, handling administrative tasks like answering phones and managing records, and maintaining sterile environments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with Certified MAs needing a Medical Assistant program certificate or AA degree and current BLS/CPR certification. Non-Certified MAs require at least 6 months of patient care experience or formal training completion, plus current BLS/CPR, and must pass a skills assessment within 30 days.
