The Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing mental health or emotional challenges, working collaboratively to develop treatment plans and empower clients toward better well-being. Essential functions include providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, managing crisis situations, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and promoting mental health awareness.
Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, along with the required state licensure or certification. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Description CAN Community Health is now hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Pay Rate: $51,200 - $64,000 annually based on experience

Education/Professional: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field. Current with all state licensing requirements, including LCSW, LMHC and LMFT. Experience providing therapy in a clinical or community setting. Experience working with co-occurring populations (HIV, chronic health conditions, mental health, and substance use) preferred. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.
