This role serves as the operational and relational extension of prescribing providers, ensuring appointments flow smoothly, patient documentation is accurate, and post-visit follow-through is efficient. Key duties include preparing charts, managing patient communication via portals, coordinating labs, and assisting with light in-clinic procedures.
Candidates must be proactive, detail-driven, and emotionally intelligent, capable of remaining calm under pressure in a fast-moving clinical setting. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of clinical experience and EMR proficiency, with a strong emphasis on dependability, professionalism, and comfort supporting patients with complex illnesses.
Preferred: Medical Assistant (MA) 2+ years experience in a clinical setting EMR experience (Cerbo experience a plus) Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfort with technology and task management systems Must be: Dependable and professional Able to multitask without sacrificing detail Comfortable working closely with providers Comfortable supporting patients with complex or chronic illness
