The Medical Assistant provides clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations, including greeting patients, obtaining medical history and vitals, and preparing patients for procedures. They will also perform routine labs, assist with wound care, maintain supplies, and respond to emergencies within their scope of practice.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED along with prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant, demonstrating knowledge of EKG placement in children and the ability to obtain lab tests via nasal swab and venipuncture. Strong communication, organizational skills, and a professional demeanor are required for this fast-paced pediatric urgent care role.
