The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists in all aspects of clinic operations within their scope of practice, focusing on client/resident comfort by performing personal care services such as bathing, feeding assistance, and maintaining a clean living area. This role also involves observing, documenting care in the electronic health record, planning nutritious meals for home care, and protecting resident rights through confidentiality and HIPAA adherence.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) degree from an accredited institution, along with active North Carolina CNA Certification and current CPR certification. Required abilities include proficiency in medical terminology, excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of initiative, and the physical capacity to stand, walk, lift over 50 pounds, stoop, and bend.
