The role involves evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients facing speech and language rehabilitation needs. This includes identifying issues, modifying therapy as necessary, and diligently tracking and documenting patient performance and progress.
Candidates must possess current licensure or certification as required by state regulations and successfully complete the SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC). A Master's degree is preferred, though a Bachelor's degree combined with relevant field experience may be considered, and CPR certification is mandatory or must be obtained shortly after hiring.
