The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will see primarily obstetrics and gynecology patients, manage acute and chronic women's health conditions, and collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care. Duties also include patient education, charting, and performing some minimally invasive procedures.
Candidates must have national Nurse Practitioner certification or the ability to obtain it, along with unrestricted active licensure in Texas. One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
Successful completion of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program with at least 2 years of L&D or women's health experience as an RN Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) through AANP or ANCC Unrestricted, active Texas APRN-CNP license or ability to obtain Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician City/Location Highlights: In 2018, Frisco topped MONEY Magazine's prestigious list of the "50 Best Places to Live in America".
