This role involves providing professional nursing care at a beginner practitioner level, adhering to patient and family-centered care principles based on the nursing process and hospital clinical standards. The nurse will act as the primary nurse for assigned patients and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
Candidates must have a Diploma Program or Associate's Degree, with a BSN preferred, and 3-5 years of required RN inpatient experience. Required licenses include a Licensed Registered Nurse or Multi-State License, Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS upon hire.
Full time - 80 hours pay period Monday-Friday - schedule may rotate weekly between the hours of 0700-1800 - all 8-hour shifts No procedural call, no holidays, and no weekends General Summary Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
