The OR Circulator RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the operating room. This role includes supervising patient care, maintaining a safe environment, and ensuring compliance with established standards and policies.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in Virginia. Previous nursing experience in relevant settings is preferred, along with BLS certification and knowledge of patient monitoring equipment.
Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment.
