The Surgical First Assistant assists the primary operative surgeon in the perioperative care of patients and performs various surgical duties as directed. Responsibilities include patient positioning, instrument handling, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting with surgical procedures.

Under the direct guidance and supervision of the primary operative surgeon, assists the surgeon in the perioperative care of patients and performs duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Education, certification, and/Or licensure:
3. Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within 30 days of hire. EXPERIENCE: 1. Two (2) years of progressive clinical scrub experience in a CST role.
Preferred Qualifications: Education, certification, and/Or licensure:
1. Recommendation from three (3) different multi-specialty surgeons to validate skill competency.
