About the role

Provide a full range of CT imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients, including organ-specific and subspecialty imaging. Adhere to ARRT guidelines and VA standards to ensure high-quality diagnostic radiology services.

Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement St, San Francisco, CA 94121.

Services to be provided include the full range of CT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift.

Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available.

Responsibilities

Provides CT Imaging care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC Adheres to the ARRT Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards in the science of radiology to improve the quality of services to VA patients Promotes the safe and effective use of diagnostic radiology through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including: CT Diagnostic Imaging Abdomen Pelvis Neuroradiology Imaging Cadiovascular / Extremity Cardiac Performs related administrative tasks

Qualifications

High School Diploma Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program ARRT (CT) certification is required American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in CT Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months Prior work experience with the GE-64 750HD and Siemens SOMATOM Force is preferred Prior VA experience is desirable No sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, completion of an accredited technologist program, and ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications. Must have at least one year of clinical experience in a Level 1 hospital setting within the last 12 months.
