Mental Health Technician II - The Haven

• Mental Health Technician II- Haven The Haven, is located in Dothan, Alabama. Work hours for this position are: Week 1: 7a-7p Mon/Thurs/Fri Week 2: 7a-7p Tues/Wed/Sat/Sun Base Pay: $14.00/hr Duties of this position include:
• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age).
• Good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
