Mental Health Technician - Dothan - Lena

• Mental Health Technician II- Lena Foster Home This is a full time position working a Pitman schedule at one of SpectraCare's residential programs. WEEK 1 - 7A-7P: TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY WEEK 2 - 7A-7P: MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY Base Pay: $14.00/hr Duties of this position include:
• Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
• Teaching group and individual basic living skills
• Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
• Ensure efficient operation of the facility
• Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
• Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED
• Must be 21 years or older, good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
• Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
