This role involves providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician, PA, or NP, which includes taking vital signs, reviewing patient history, and assisting with examinations and minor procedures. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for maintaining clean examination rooms, managing medical supplies, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and office standards.
Candidates must be a National Certified Medical Assistant and possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Professional requirements include maintaining excellent attendance, professional conduct, and strict patient confidentiality while effectively communicating with the healthcare team.
Provides patient care in the office setting. Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Physician, PA, or NP. Maintains regulatory requirements, nursing and office policies, procedures, and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about the patient's clinical condition.
