The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive, tailored care plans and provide treatment to clients with physical and cognitive limitations to enhance their daily living skills, strength, and balance. Responsibilities also include utilizing adaptive equipment, recommending environmental modifications for safety, and educating clients and caregivers on condition management.
Candidates must possess an active Occupational Therapy license in Florida and have a minimum of one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist. Essential qualities include the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving capabilities.

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing high quality and coordinated care to patients in their homes and communities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home health care, an understanding of state and federal regulations, and a passion for helping patients live their best lives. What you’ll be doing: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans for each client, tailored to their specific needs and goals Evaluate and treat clients with physical and cognitive limitations to help them improve their daily living skills, range of motion, strength, and balance Utilize adaptive equipment and recommend modifications to the client's environment to enhance their independence and safety Educate clients and their caregivers on ways to manage their condition and prevent future injuries Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, and care plans Stay current with new developments and research in occupational therapy Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards of nursing practice What we expect from you: Active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Florida Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively Passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care
